GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
The new privacy law, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) will take effect in the European Union (EU) on May 25, 2018. Under this law, there is a new framework for protecting the personal information (data) of EU-based residents, meaning that any organization that works with an EU residents’ personal information has new standards to protect that data. Anthology Encompass will comply with relevant GDPR regulations as a Data Processor when they take effect; all clients will generally act as Data Controllers. At Anthology Encompass, we understand the importance of securing and protecting personal data and take measures to provide our clients with the means to safeguard this data through our software. Furthermore, Anthology Encompass is dedicated to helping our clients understand and comply with the new GDPR regulations.
