TABLE OF CONTENTS
Challenge Breakdown
Under the Challenge Breakdown, the Challenge progress bar helps you to identify the completion status of all Challenges created in a specific Initiative. You have options to see the Challenge progress based on Dollar Goal ($ Goal) and Participation Goal.
To toggle between the Challenge type progress window, click the toggle switch at the top of the Challenge Breakdown.
The Challenge progress bars display the real-time progress for each challenge. The clustered bar progresses when a donation is made on a particular Challenge.
The progress bar visibility in $ Goal and Participation Goal depends on how the Challenges are set up. The progress bar is Blue when a Challenge is in progress and turns to Yellow when the Challenge goal is more than 100%. This is applicable for both the $ Goal and Participation Goal.
In the case of $ Goal, the X-axis denotes the funds raised and the Y-axis shows all the Challenges in an Initiative.
In the case of Participation Goal, the X-axis denotes the number of participants, and the Y-axis shows all the Challenges in an Initiative.
You can see a maximum of 12 Challenges progress on a single page of an Overall Stats page. If you have more than 12 Challenges, you need to switch to the next page by clicking Next in the navigation button on the lower-left of Challenge Breakdown. To go back to the previous Stats page, click Previous.
To check the overall progress of a Challenge, hover over a Challenge bar to see a tooltip displaying the Challenge name, dollar amount funded, number of donors, percentage of goal reached, and the overall goal amount.
You can access the Stat page for all Active Initiatives and Historical Initiatives.
You can sort the Challenge Breakdown graph based on Challenge Name and Percentage Reached.
When you select Sorted By Challenge Name, the chart gets sorted by Challenge name (A-Z), and by selecting Sorted By Percentage Reached, the chart gets sorted by Percentage Complete in descending order.
Top Donations
Top Donation gives you the list of top 10 donors across all forms attached within an Initiative. Donors, who donated the largest gifts across all challenges created under a specific Initiative now get visible under Top Donation.
You need the Advanced Ambassador Management Admin right to view the donated amount, otherwise, you get to see only the donors' names. Without Advanced Ambassador Management Admin access, the donated amount is visible as asterisks (***). The Top Donations are calculated based on the Unique Member Ids. When a donor donates in multiple challenges in a specific Initiative, the total sum of all donations to the initiative will be summed.
An asterisk (*) next to the donor name denotes the donor who chose to remain anonymous for the Scoreboard Donor Roll module.
Affiliation Totals
The Affiliation Totals gives you a breakdown of the donations by Affiliation type across all challenges in the specific Initiative. The Affiliation Totals section shows specific results based on the Affiliation types.
When creating an Initiative, you should select the correct form containing scoreboard Affiliation. If the selected form does not have the Affiliation Type, the donated amount gets reflected under the “Unknown” category. Donors need to select the correct Affiliation Type from the dropdown menu, otherwise, the amount gets reflected under the “Unknown” category as well.
When creating a Challenge, if you do not select a Challenge Type as Affiliation, and a donation is made on that specific Challenge, in the Affiliation Totals, the donation is included in the “Unknown” Affiliation type.
Donation Count
In this section, you can see the Total and Daily Donation counts. These stats give Admins and Ambassadors an idea of how the overall Initiative is performing.
When you change the Time Zone of an Initiative, the Donation Count logical calculation automatically gets adjusted.
Under the Donation Count, you can see two toggle buttons at the top, one for Total and another for Daily. By default when you open the Stats page Total is selected.
Total
The Total count of gifts depends on the particular Initiative Start Date and Start Time & End Date and End Time. The Total count does not depend on the Challenges associated with the specific Initiative.
Under Total, you can see:
- Total Gifts – Total Gifts gets calculated based on the total number of donors donating for the Initiatives.
- Total Donations – Total Donations are the dollar amounts donated by the donors.
- Average Donation Per Hour – The Average Donation gets calculated based on the date and time of the Initiative creation and the current date and time. This calculation does not count the future date and time.
The Average Donation Per Hour = Total Donations/the total number of hours elapsed since the start of the Initiative.
Note – During the calculation, the hours are always rounded off to the next available hours.
i.e. if the Initiative start time is 5:00 PM, and the current system time is 9:01 PM, and total donations made $500, during the calculation the average gets calculated as:
The Average Donation Per Hour = 500 (total donations till current time)/(10:00 PM-5:00 PM) 5 hours. (number of hours elapsed) =$100.
9:01 PM has rounded off to the next available hours i.e. 10:00 PM.
The Total Donation Count section gets auto refreshed every 30 seconds. When a donation is made, you can see the changes reflected every after 30 seconds, and no need to refresh your browser.
Daily
Daily gives you the Daily Donations count irrespective of Initiative start date and start time & end date and end time. The Daily Donation considers based on the current system time zone and also depends on the time zone selected during the Initiative creation.
Under Daily, you can see:
- Total Gifts – Total Gifts represents the number of donations made between 12:00 AM and the current time.
- Total Donations – Total Donations represents a total count of dollars donations made between 12:00 AM and the current time.
- Average Donation Per Hour – Average Donation Per Hour represents an average of dollars donations made between 12:00 AM and current time. This calculation does not count the future date and time.
The Average Donation Per Hour = Total Donations/the Total number of hours elapsed from 12:00 AM for a specific day.
Note – During the calculation, the hours are always rounded off to the next available hours.
i.e. The day starts at 12:00 AM and the current system time is 7:01 AM, and total donations made $1600, during the calculation the average gets calculated as:
The Average Donation Per Hour = 1600 (total donations till current time)/(12:00 AM-8:00 AM) 8 hours (number of hours elapsed) =$200.
07:01 AM has rounded off to the next available hours i.e. 08:00 AM.
The Daily Donation Count section gets auto refreshed every 30 seconds. When a donation is made, you can see the changes reflected every after 30 seconds, and no need for a manual refresh.
When no donations are made on a specific day, a message gets displayed as “There are currently no donations made today for this initiative.”
