Using a Waitlist

A waitlist feature does not exist in Encompass.  If you encounter a scenario where the event has reached capacity and you've run out of tickets but you still want to allow people to join a waitlist in case more spots open up, we suggest using the following process as a solution:

  1. Create a Standard Form
  2. Name it [event name] Waitlist or something similar.
  3. Add the fields of information you want to collect. Example: name, email, phone number, best time to reach you, number of tickets needed, ect. 
  4. Create a hyperlink on the Detail Page of the Event linking to the waitlist form. NOTE: this message will need to be manually added to the Detail Page once the event has reached capacity. 
  5. You can run reports on your standard form to see who is next in line in case spots open up.
