Enhancements

Early Adoption of Automatic Recalculation of Credit Card Recovery Fees

This feature is available for early adoption. (Please contact support to enable it.)

Enabling this feature will introduce a breaking change to your giving transaction reports. A new column for Credit Card Recovery Fee details will be added to the report.

When credit card recovery is enabled for a donation or event form, donors can opt to add the credit card processing fees to their donation amount. The amount owed for credit card fees appears next to the recovery fee option. If the donor updates their donation amount, the credit card fee is recalculated automatically and displays the new amount.

Import Member Data

Admins now have the option to use Member ID as the unique identifier in an import file. This enables you to:

  • Clean up your database to remove unneeded records. For example, you can import non-members, merge them with existing records, and then delete the duplicates.
  • Alter or delete non-member records already in the database.
  • For institutions migrating from another CRM, you can use Member ID as an alternate to the Constituent ID.

From the Import Member Data screen, under Unique Identifier Import, you now have the option to choose Constituent ID or Member ID for the import file.

Notes about member imports

  • Imports can’t restore records that were previously deleted.
  • You can’t add new member IDs through an import. You must use those created in Encompass.
  • Member IDs 1-7 are used by the system so can’t be edited or deleted.

Note: Admins must be assigned to the “Import Admin” role to access member ID imports.

Previously, when you uploaded a CSV of constituent IDs for an email audience, you received an error and the audience wouldn't save. This issue is fixed and the imported audience saves as expected.

When users clicked the View in Browser link from an email campaign, they received a ‘Page not found error.’ This is fixed and the email message opens in a browser window as expected.

URLs with tokens can be used to generate custom links for recipients using a Encompass hosted page. Previously, when email recipients clicked a URL that contained a token value, they were directed to a page with a 404 error. This issue is resolved.
