Add Levels, Single Amount Input or Multiple Fixed Amounts to a Donations Campaign
Levels allow you to create various ranges for donations.  You can also select a Single Amount Input or create Multiple Fixed Amounts from which donors can select.

When you are creating a campaign, you must Toggle Advanced Mode to see the Single Amount Input / Levels / Multiple Fixed Amounts options.  Do not select to Enable Designations for your campaign, as you will not see the options for Single Amount Input, Levels and Multiple Fixed Amounts.   If you want to have Designations on your campaign you cannot use Fixed Amounts.

NOTE:  Levels can be added to a campaign (including a campaign with designations) after it is created by selecting the Manage Category dropdown > Add New Field > Levels.  You will not be able to add Multiple Fixed Amounts to a campaign after it is created.

Single Amount Input

Check the box to enable this option.  Creates a text box for givers to enter an amount and allows people to fill in whatever amount they choose.

Levels

Levels allow you to create various ranges for donations.  When you select the Single Amount option, you will see the Enable Campaign Levels checkbox.  Use the Donation Single Amount with Campaign Levels to provide members a range in which to donate.  Based on their donation amount, donors will be assigned to a Level by the system.

  • Select Single Amount Input – Creates a text box for givers to enter an amount.
  • Select Enable Campaign Levels – Allows you to create various ranges for donations.  Based on their donation amount, donors will be assigned to a Level by the system.
  • Once you have finished creating the Content Properties for your campaign, you will be taken to the interface to create your Levels.
  • Click Add Level.
    • Enter a Level Name.
    • Enter a Description.  This is a good place to put the benefits and perks of this Level.
    • Enter the dollar amounts for the Range.
NOTE:   If you leave the second “Range” box empty, the system will place a + behind the number you entered in the first box (so the range might be $100+).   If you leave the first box empty, the system will place the words “up to” in front of the number you entered in the second box (i.e., up to $50).  Ranges cannot overlap.  For example, if Level 1 is “up to $50”, Level 2 must begin at $51.
  • Click Save.

Enter as many Levels as you would like.

Once you have finished creating Levels, click Next.

NOTE:  Levels can also be added to a campaign (including a campaign with designations) after it is created by selecting the Manage Category dropdown > Add New Field > Levels.  You will not be able to add Multiple Fixed Amounts to a campaign after it is created.
