The Commerce Item Report generates a report based on each commerce item in the Event and related Activities.
- It is organized by specific commerce item and displays the primary registrant (and guests) who purchased each item, the number purchased and the total dollar amount.
- This report does include $0 dollar (free) items.
- The report provides total number purchased, commerce item price and total revenue for each commerce item.
- Each fee control is broken out into a separate category on the report with each registrant and their guest appearing as a separate line item in the report.
- At the bottom of each category is a summary for each fee in the fee control. The summary will show how many of each fee was purchased (Number Purchased), the Fee Amount and the Total Revenue (Number Purchased X Fee Amount).
- The name of the registrant is under one column and is displayed as Last Name, First Name. The report is sorted on the Last Name.
Additional Business Rules
- Commerce Amount Fields are not included.
- The information in the Attendee Report is based on the data the user enters into the event. If information is not entered into the guest control field, the guest data will not be included in the report.
- When a full adjustment is made on an event, the following things will occur:
- The primary registrant row will be removed from the primary registration report and the primary registrant total will be reduced by 1. If there was more than 1 ticket the additional tickets would be removed from the total guest count.
- The registrant row and any guest rows tied to the registrant will be removed from the report. The primary registrant total will be reduced by 1 and the total guest count would be reduced by the number of guest rows that were removed.
- There will be no changes to the Itinerary Report. (This will change when the guest registration enhancement is released.)
- The Commerce Item Report will add a new row under the primary registrant showing the adjustment.
- The primary registrant row will be removed from the primary registration report and the primary registrant total will be reduced by 1. If there was more than 1 ticket the additional tickets would be removed from the total guest count.
- When a partial adjustment is made on an event, the following things will occur:
- The adjustment will be removed from the guest count first on the primary registrant report.
- There will be no changes to the Attendee Report, because we don't know which guest and/or registrant should be removed. (With the new guest registration enhancement we will handle this scenario, so we will know which guest or registrant to remove from the Attendee Report.)
- There will be no changes to the Itinerary Report. This will change when the guest registration enhancement is released.
- The Commerce Item Report will add a new row under the primary registrant showing the adjustment.
- When an event registration is edited (a ticket is added on and an additional guest name is added) the following things will occur:
- The guest name will be added to the primary registrant's row on the Primary Registrant Report and the guest totals and attendee totals will increase by 1.
- A new guest row will be added to the Attendee Report and the guest totals and attendees total will increase by 1. If a guest name is not added, then there would be no changes to this report.
