Scenario 1: Impacts to reporting when three guests are entered and only 3 tickets are purchased.
Primary Registrant Report
The Primary Registrant Report looks at the ticket count, so if the primary registrant adds three guests and purchases three tickets the report would show the row with the primary registrant and the three guest names in the report.
The total primary registrant count is 1, based on the 1 row in the report.
The total guest count is 2, based on the number of tickets purchased minus the total primary registrants.
The total attendees is 3, based on the tickets sold.
Attendee Report
The Attendee Report looks at the guests entered via the guest control, so if the primary registrant adds three guests and purchases three tickets the report would show the row with the primary registrant and three rows for each guest.
The total primary registrant count is 1, based on the 1 'registrant' row in the report.
The total guest count is 3, based on the 3 'guest' rows in the report.
The total attendees is 4, based on summing 1 registrant and 3 guest.
Scenario 2: Impacts to reporting when an adjustment is done
A registrant adds a guest and purchases 2 tickets for the event. Then the guest decides not to come so the admin adjusts off one ticket. The Primary Registrant Report will remove the ticket from the total guest count and the total attendees count. The primary registrant row remains in the report. See the before and after below.
Primary Registrant Report
Before the adjustment:
After the adjustment:
Overall, the Primary Registrant Report is based on the ticket count so full adjustments and partial adjustments will be reported accurately in the totals section on this report. One thing to note is that the primary registrant row will still be included in the report and the 'Guest of' column will still include the guests entered by the registrant when a partial adjustment is done. When a full adjustment is done the primary registrant row with the guests will be removed from the report.
Attendee Report
Before the adjustment:
After the adjustment:
The Attendee Report is based on the primary registrant and the guest names entered into the guest control, not tickets. When a partial adjustment is done there are no changes to this report because the admin can't tie the adjustment to a specific guest name. When a full adjustment is done the primary registrant and all of the guests tied to the primary registrant are removed from the report, so the totals section on this report are updated accordingly.
Scenario 3: Impacts to reporting when an event is edited

First time through I purchased two tickets and added a guest through the guest name field.
Edited the registration by adding 1 ticket and a guest to the guest name field.
Attendee Report
