Reset Password

Admins can reset a password for a member by going to Members > Edit Member.

Select Find Member Record and find the member.
On the Account Info tab, update the password and notify the member. (The tab may have a different name in your community.)

Members/admins can reset their own password on the login page or may be required to reset their password if they have too many invalid login attempts.

To reset the password on the login page:

1. Click Reset Password.

2. Enter the email address that is on file for you in the community.

3. Click Reset My Password.

4. An email will be sent to you with a link that allows you to reset your password. The email link will be good for 72 hours.

5. After clicking the link in the email, you will be taken to the community and placed in a window asking you to enter a password and confirm it.

6. Click Change Password.

7. A success message will appear (shown below) that includes a link to login.

8. Click the Login link in the message shown above. Enter your username and password to login.

If the member/admin has been locked out:

A message (shown below) will appear letting you know that your account has been locked.

If the email address you entered is registered on this site, you will receive an email within one hour.
This email contains a link back to the website to reset your password. The link is good for 72 hours.
If you do not receive this email, please check your junk mail folder or contact the community administrator by clicking here.
